The Last Few Months!!

Once again, I have slacked on posting to our blog page.
Please forgive. Here are some of our latest happenings.

Our biggest news in the past few months, is that we have a new addition to the family- a new niece. Kaylee Marie was born on September 4th. Congratulations Dusty and Jeremy. The second picture was taken on Sept 25. She is such a little cutie with dark hair and skin and the brightest eyes ever.

As a third grader, Andrew received a Bible and Catechism from Church.

Val, Jessie, Isabelle, and Garrett invited us to the pumpkin patch -a great way to spend an afternoon.

Our Halloween lasted 3 days this year. We went to the farm so Michael could help work cattle, and the kids could trick or treat at Papa and Grandma's, but mostly so that I could see Kaylee. Then we spent that evening at the Church Halloween Party. They always get so many prizes and have so much fun.

Then on Sunday, we carved pumpkins. As you can see, Andrew still hates the process, but loves his ending Jack-O-Lantern. That evening we went to Michael's Aunt and Uncle's house for supper and more Trick-Or-Treating.

After school on Monday, we Trick Or Treated around about half of the town where I teach and the kids go to school. The kids had walked across the street to one house. Then Andrew asked if they could walk to the rest of the houses "the old fashioned way." The weather was so gorgeous- NO COATS!!. At one point they were holding hands walking across the yards. Trick or Treating to friends and family here in town rounded out our Halloween.

Andrew tested for his green belt in Tae Kwon Do on November 8. It is amazing how much he has learned, and how confident he is while doing his patterns. He stomp kicked throw a 6 inch board for this test. Pretty proud of himself.

Grace is becoming such a reader. She just loves reading her little books from school. She is also sounding out words, trying to spell, and spelling out what she wants to say. The other day at supper she says, "Mom, I am /f/ /u/ /l/ (sounds). Mom I really am "f" "u" "l" (letters). "

One last important news, Michael has started a new job. He is now working for one of the hospitals in town preparing orders at the warehouse. Hope everyone had a great Fall. Now on to Winter- we have had really descent weather so far.
