Michael's grandfather (his mother's father) passed away on January 27. He had a good life and turned 89 on Sunday Jan. 25. He was a quite and calm man, but if he did have something to say you better listen or you would miss something pretty funny or insightful. He was deeply devoted to the Lord so it seems only fitting that he went to be with the Lord on his babtismal anniversary.
We will remember Adam playing pinochle on holidays and any other time we got together. I remember one Easter just a couple year ago. We were at Phyllis and Jewells, and Adam and Andrew were sitting across from eachother for dinner. Andrew had his piece of pie at the top of his plate hoping to entice him to eat more. Well, Adam snuck that piece of pie from Andrew, and Andrew flew off his chair in a huff and started pulling on Great Grandpa. Adam just laughed at him and told him "go and eat". We all got a good laugh, and Andrew did eat his meal and piece of pie.
He will surely be missed.
God Bless Adam's Memory
