Grace went into her bedroom for a long time on Saturday, and came out with her Dora panties on and exclaims , "Diapers are for babies! I'm going to wear my Dora panties." She has been doing really well and pretty adamant about not wearing a diaper. At a basketball game she was really excited to tell everyone about her fairy pullups and started crying because she wanted her Dora panties.
Andrew had this advice for Grace: "You have to keep your fairies dry or your wishes won't come true." Fairies don't like to get dirty either or they will mad at you."
I am so relieved that she finally made up her own mind about using the potty. There will be accidents, but I can deal with those.
