Aug. 25 was Andrew's first day of 1st Grade.
As we pulled up to Kathleen's (daycare) on Tuesday morning, I had one child crying because they wanted to go to school and one child crying that they wanted to stay at Kathleen's.
Can you guess which one was crying for which reason?
Yeah, Grace wanted to go to school (and all other mornings this week), and Andrew wanted to stay at Kathleen's- something about first grade was going to be too hard. His first day went just fine, and he was happy to see his friends again. I am very happy to say that Andrew has my mentor and good friend as a teacher. She has taught for 37 years and is a wonderful teacher. Andrew will learn a lot. Stay tuned to hear more about Andrew, the first grader.

Good job being brave and going even if you didn't want to Andrew! It is going to be a lot of fun and you are going to learn some really great stuff!
