Some of these projects were cleaning the storage room, organizing kids past, present, and future clothes, Michael and I stained the deck, straightened out my craft supplies, and did a complete overhaul of the storage shed. Doesn't seem like much but with the day to day cleaning and cooking, I have been pretty busy.
So now what do I do when the work is through--- Spend time with the kids. We have had a couple "Andrew Days" and a couple "Grace Days" where mommy doesn't do any cleaning, and we do the things the kids want to do.
We have rode bike,
played with Dollies,
went to the Science Center,
went to lots of parks
(8 parks this summer, trying to beat 2007's record of 12 parks),
become pilots of all sorts of toy planes,
played Magic Mitt or Velcro Ball
(we just had to get a set after playing with Dean and Sara's)
hit some rummage sales,
played freeze tag- that Andrew can run pretty fast,
AND
went to the Wing Community Days
First time in a kiddie parade,
Princes Grace and Sir Andrew
"Ready to protect and serve the community of Wing."
Got a little wet and eventually a lot wet in the pool/slide,
Found some coins in the straw- over 2 bucks,
Andrew and his friend Nathan were busy during
the scheduled time for finding coins, but they had fun anyway.
Since July is half over now (sigh), it will be time for
BACK TO SCHOOL preparations.
But we are going to have fun in the mean time.
We plan to go swimming at a community pool this afternoon
(If it gets warm enough- I doubt it though).
If not we can always go to the zoo.

Well, it definitely looks as though you HAVE been busy! Good job getting all those tasks done and finding time to play with the kids - an every day challenge!
