Grace:
- Working on potty training, but she has been pretty stubborn.
- Talking more and more. She even sings herself to sleep with "Twinkle Little Star" and "Old McDonald."
- Has found a love for Dora the Explorer with princess a close second.
- She gets her feelings hurt more than usual lately.
- Has to be doing everything Andrew is doing.
- Is always carrying around some kind of toy in one hand and yes, still sucking her thumb from the other hand.
Andrew:
- He is having a great time in school and really picking up on things.
- As he waited for me by the car one day after school, he had told a lady that he "wished mom would just hurry up because his feet wrists were really hurting." (feet wrists are your ankles in case you were wondering)
- Every time you turn around he is getting more paper and making more crafts.
- If he isn't doing crafts, he is coloring. I made him a construction paper book with rings so he can glue all his cuttings from magazines and coloring pictures into instead of having them all around the house.
- He and Camdon had a blast on the 24th. They tried to make a tree house in the tree, but for some odd reason, I would not let them have wood, nails, and hammers. So they resorted to making a roof from stapled paper, stairs from string, and paper pillows with tape, staples, and leaves.
- On a couple weekends, he helped me make his Spidey costume.
Michael:
- Has been waiting for the NBA- LA Lakers season to start.
- Enjoyed putting out all the Halloween decorations.
- Actually had a few late evenings at work to get caught up on things.
- Took the last week in October off, watched the kids most of those days, and did some really fun things with the kids for their Halloween Party on Thursday.-- They watched Halloween toons, colored Halloween pictures, put tattoos on pumpkins, made crafts, and ate party foods.
Myself:
- Attended a two and half day teaching conference. Awesome speakers and lots more great ideas. So much fun!
- Made Andrew's costume, which felt good to do something crafty and sew again.
- Had two days off!! And what does a teacher do on a day off- catch up on school things.
- Enjoying teaching this year A LOT but really busy.
- Canned some spaghetti sauce and froze about 20 cups of carrots.
- I helped make about 200 apple pies to sell at the church. I even did a little rolling of pie crusts (about 40). I should be all practiced up to make lefse this Christmas.
We all had a Great Halloween. The weather was perfect. As you can see by the pictures we did many things. Grace loved getting all that candy. She had candy opened and in her mouth before you could say no. At the Halloween party, she had won a food prep glove with popcorn and candy corn for fingernails, but had to dump all the popcorn onto the table and floor to get to candy corn. Andrew looks forward to the church Halloween party every year and had it all planned out what he would do. His first school party was a lot of fun too.
Well that was our October. I have a feeling November and December won't be any less busy.

Looks like lots of fun - pumkin patch etc. Didn't get a chance to carve pumkins here this year it was so fun to do together last year! Enjoyed all the pics! Take care!
Looks like a fun October! Don't you just love fall? Is Spiderman Andrew's favorite now? Love the duck costume. Thanks for posting!
Yes Spiderman is the #1 Hero now, but has lots of Spiderman things. Second Best is Ironman. Grace loved her chick costume too. She still wants to wear it.
