Its All About Andrew

Andrew has been a busy young man these past few months.

In January and February, he played on a first through fourth grade basketaball team. They practiced a couple times a week and had 3 evening games and an all day tournament. He played well, but not as aggressively as some classmates. He learned a lot. And maybe next year, he will have gained some height and spunk.

On Feb. 20, he had his fifth test in Tae Kwon Do to earn his blue belt. He was quite nervous for this test since he doesn't train as much as the others in his class. Once again he did so well, and I was so impressed with all that he has learned. Here are a few shots from the test.

Andrew turned NINE years old this year on good old St. Patty's Day. We had family and a couple friends over to celebrate. I think Andrew was more anxious for company and presents than he has ever been. He spent most of the day watching the clock, and he even called Papa and Grandma to see when they would arrive. He received many nice presents this year including lots of cash which he was able to put in his grownup wallet from Jo. With all this money, he was able to buy himself a new bike and still have some left over. Oh, how they do grow up so fast.
