Andrew is now a big seven years old. He picked the theme of GI Joe this year. With the help of a few of his toys and some print outs, I made his cake. It may be hard to see, but the intention was that the GI Joe was on the beach near the ocean. I got carried away with the ocean. Let's just say it was high tide. A few people have asked about the weird faces with the balloons. They are character masks from the new movie. I haven't seen the movie, but the GI Joe experts at our house say they are the main good guy and bad guy.
Anyway back to the birthday and the party. We had the party on Saturday with a few people coming over. Andrew was excited all day and couldn't wait for everyone to come. As we were eating supper, Andrew says, "I am just so happy." (This was even before presents.) He was so funny opening presents. He would ask if everyone was ready for him to open the next present. Uncle Scot picked on him about this a couple times, and we all got a big laugh. Uncle Jeremy and Dusty got Andrew to laugh pretty hard too. Andrew actually thought that Uncle Jeremy had given him the clippers in the picture, but was even happier to get the walkie-talkies inside. With all the presents, family and cake/ice-cream, Andrew was one happy seven year old.

Love the big cheesy grin! What are those weird faces/masks with the balloons?
Happy Birthday, Andrew! One big 7 for a candle just like you said!
Love the "action" shots too, Andrew. Cute how the clipper box was even exciting. :) Hope you are enjoying the nice weather - and have a Happy Easter - Jesus Loves You!
