The Elementary staff put on our annual Family Reading and Math Night on April 17. All went really well. We had over 60 people there, and all seemed to have a lot of fun. We served BBQ's, hotdogs, chips and malts. Then the families sailed around the school to different learning activities.
A good pirate can make a ship from cardboard and duck tape. The mast is a volleyball pole, broom stick and sheet. Our sixth grade teacher, who just happens to be a former engineer helped us make this sailing vessel.Here are our little Scalawags.
