Two Cute Stories!

Yikes! It's been awhile. Tis the Christmas Season-busy busy. Plus I have a sinus infection that has been kicking my butt for over a week.
Anyway!

An Andrew Story:
In Social Studies class, the kindergartners were talking about friends and who their friends could be. They said cousins, classmates, school friends, and neighbors. Andrew added that his "best friend was his sister Grace." ;)

A Grace Story:
Last Monday, the roads out to school were snow covered (pushing with the bumper), and you couldn't see the road, especially when you met someone. I was driving about 25-35 miles per hour the entire way-stressful. But Grace had these reassuring words, "It's OK Mommy, we'll be safe." "Stay on the road Mommy. " "Hold on tightly Mommy." "We're going to be safe." Then we pulled into town and she cheers, Yeah, we made it Mommy! Good Job Mommy!! We're safe!!" and throws her arms in the air.

It is a blizzard outside right now as I type. Hopefully it quits this evening and we get plowed out before the drive tomorrow. Take Care and Stay Warm.

Hope you had a safe trip to school today too! Seem to be a hour late at most of the schools in this territory. Hoping you had a little extra time for travels - yikes it is cold! -22 here this AM!

Same -22 degrees with -44 windshield. School ran two hours late this morning. The roads were great. Town was blowed well. Busses kept getting gelled up though so some kids got here at 11:30. ND- got to love it.
